About Us

The Los Angeles Compensation and Benefits Association is a group of professionals throughout the greater Los Angeles area. We bring together the resources to present forums, share information, conduct surveys, and provide education for the benefit of members and the community.

The goals of LACABA are to:

Support the advancement of human resource professionals with responsibility for compensation and/or benefits.

  • Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information.
  • Improve professional competence through educational activities.
  • Focus on the impact of compensation and benefits on an organization’s success, and
  • Promote the concept that to be effective, compensation and benefits programs must be linked to an organization’s objectives.

Membership in LACABA is open to compensation and benefits professionals. The membership fee is $80.00 each calendar year. Fees paid in the fourth quarter also apply to the following year. Membership is on an individual basis and is NOT transferable to others.

Member directory is published and distributed to members annually.  LACABA does not sell or share our member contact information.

Eight to ten general meetings are held yearly featuring prominent speakers or expert panel members on topics of general interest in the compensation and benefits field. Meeting fees are $25.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members.  Meetings normally begin at 8:00 a.m. and locations alternate from downtown Los Angeles to near LAX with continental breakfast.

LACABA is a non-profit organization affiliated with the WorldatWork Association and was assisted by the WorldatWork Association in its founding and organization.
